The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

• Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
• Company/personal email addresses
• CCTV and/or company vehicle dash cam footage
• Employee data

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

• You are a customer or potential customer
• You are a supplier of goods or services
• You are an employee of the company

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

• CCTV and/or company vehicle dash cam footage.  This footage is collected and may be used and/or shared with the police and/or relevant insurance company in the event of a crime, accident or insurance claim.

We use the information that you have given us:

• in order to undertake the core running of our business, for example accounts or records (invoices and payments)
• for advertising, marketing and public relations purposes (in connection with our own business activity)
• for staff administration (including payroll)

We may share this information with:

• relevant sub-contractors
• our suppliers (where delivery is required direct to a customer address)
• our company accountants and within our company accounting software
• the relevant local authority (for instance, if planning permission or building regulation consents are required).

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored at our company correspondence address (above).

We keep your contact details (name, address, email and telephone numbers) for 5 to 7 years.  We will then dispose of your information by deleting it from our computer held records and by shredding or confidential waste disposal of paper copies.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
